These thin coins are found in north Karnataka, and are ascribed to the \'Period of Confusion\' from 250-400 AD that followed the rule of the Chutus. They depict a standing bull - a Shaivite symbol - with a legend (often blundered) that reads Rajno Vishnurudra Budhananda, a ruler known only from these coins.
