Amoghabhuti was the most prominent king of the Kuninda (Kulinda) dynasty, ruling in northern India during the late 2nd century BCE to early 1st century BCE. His kingdom was centered in the mountainous valleys of the Sutlej and Yamuna rivers, covering parts of present-day Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Amoghabhuti is especially known for his beautiful silver and copper coins, which are among the earliest native Indian coins to follow the Indo-Greek weight and silver standards.Obverse: Typically features a deer standing right, crowned by two cobras, attended by the goddess Lakshmi holding a lotus. The legend in Brahmi script reads: Rajnah Kunindasya Amoghabhutisya maharajasya (\"Great King Amoghabhuti, of the Kunindas\").Reverse: Shows a stupa surmounted by the Buddhist symbol triratna, surrounded by a swastika, a \"Y\" symbol, and a tree in railing, with a Kharoshti legend: Rana Kunindasa Amoghabhutisa Maharajasa (\"Great King Amoghabhuti, of the Kunindas\").
